Regional Conference
The Charismatic & Courageous Central Region
ONE SISTERHOOD STROLL LINE
It’s time to get your stroll on at the 50th Central Regional Conference. The soul-stepping Sorors Myra Everette and Nola Faulkner out of the national step show winning chapter Kansas City (MO) Alumnae Chapter have created a C3 signature stroll for the regional conference. |
Service Project
The Des Moines Alumnae Chapter will be collecting hygiene products for Children and Families of Iowa (CFI), a local non-profit agency. They also provide services for domestic violence victims, young adult career services, early childhood development, substance abuse, and mental health services. The donated products will be distributed among children and families of Iowa in programs for at-risk youth and young adults.
Donated products can be accepted on-site at the conference or may be purchased through the Amazon Wishlist:

Monetary donations can be made via Paypal: https://tinyurl.com/C3CommServiceDonation
C3 Trivia
The subscription event during the regional conference is a C3 Trivia Night. There will be food, fun, music, and lots of prizes. If you purchased a subscription ticket, please contact your Chapter President to join the chapter team. Chapter’s can have as many teams as needed to accommodate chapter members who have purchased a subscription ticket. The more teams a chapter has, the better its chances of becoming C3 Trivia winners. C3 Homecoming Welcome Event
The conference Welcome Event will be a homecoming to celebrate 90 years of excellence, sisterhood, and service. This C3 Homecoming will feature a tailgate, games, prizes, homecoming Queens (collegiate, alumnae, and Dear categories), food, and much more.
Sorors will represent their chapter by wearing the official Central Region homecoming t-shirt that will feature their chapter name on the back of the t-shirt. We are also asking sorors to wear the official homecoming t-shirt along with a pair of jeans or red pants, red or white tennis shoes, and a three-strand pearl necklace for the C3.
If you missed ordering and need a t-shirt email me at echolsfcentralrd@gmail.com.
Central Regional Officers & National Dignitaries Show Them Some C3 Love
Yes, the rumor is correct. The Central Region will have five Past National Presidents attending the conference:
16th National President Dr. Thelma T. Daley
22nd National President Dr. Gwendolyn E. Boyd
23rd National President Dr. Louise A. Rice
24th National President Cynthia M.A. Butler McIntyre,
26th National President Beverly E. Smith.
Immediately following the Closing Plenary as tradition, Sorors will have an opportunity to show our five Past National Presidents and current National President, Elsie Cooke-Holmes, some love in the form of a card, token, or monetary gift. In addition, elected regional officers who served for the 2020-2022 biennium will be leaving office except for our member who serves on the National & Scholarship Committee.
