Alumnae Membership

Any female who has earned a baccalaureate degree from a college or university is eligible to apply for membership of an Alumnae Chapter provided that:

1. the college or university from which she has earned her degree is accredited by an accrediting agency that is recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation;
2. the female graduated with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale or 1.75 on a 3.0 scale;
3. the female resides in the community/area that is serviced by the Alumnae Chapter; and
4. the female is not a member of, nor has been expelled from, any society holding membership in the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. or the Panhellenic Conference, Inc.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. does not have an age limit for persons interested in either collegiate or alumnae chapters.

There are currently two (2) chapters in the Oklahoma City metro.

A majority of Delta events are PUBLIC events.  Unless otherwise posted, the event is open to all ages and genders.

In larger cities, different chapters are established based on population and miles covered to better serve the community.  It allows for members to be involved in the communities in which they reside or are close to.  Chapters often have joint events and attend each others events when possible.
