Breakfast For MiLady

Plan and organize a successful fundraising event to raise funds so that the chapters can carry out its public service projects, such as scholarship and the Five Point programs. Coordinate recognizing notable women in the community.

Responsible for administering appropriate recognitions and condolences to sorors as specified in the Chapter Policies and Procedures.

Delta Academy

Charged with providing programs to teen African American females between the ages of 11 and 14 to introduce and expose girls to math, science, technology and nontraditional careers

Delta Gems

The purpose of GEMS committee is to serve as the "faculty" for the Delta GEMS program. Plan and coordinate the curriculum and activities. Recruit girls, between 14-18 years of age, who have the potential, but limited opportunity to achieve success in life.

Emergency Response Team

The goal of the Delta Emergency Response Team (ERT) is to help chapters and individuals make the best and most informed decisions they can, in order to stay safe and thrive during and after challenging events such as natural or man-made disasters.

Finance & Property

Responsible for considering the financial needs of the chapter in order to recommend dues and fees to the Executive Board; planning, evaluating, and recommending the annual operating budget to the chapter; and reviewing and recommending budget modifications at specified interim periods.

Five Point

Responsible for implementing the activities and programs of the Sorority's Five-Point Thrust

Founders Day

Founders Day is charged with developing a program to honor the founders and to rededicate members to the ideals and purposes of Delta sometime during the months of January, February or March.

Membership implements plans to reclaim inactive sorors. Some of the activities include: overseeing the chapter luncheons, giving out birthday gifts to members, conducting Secret Sister activities and Delta Reunion activities.

Policies & Procedures

Policies and Procedures is responsible for receiving and evaluating changes in the local chapter policies and procedures and the chapter rules of order, to present such revisions to the chapter for consideration and vote and to publish and distribute revised materials.

Scholarship

One of our objectives is to raise the consciousness of young women regarding the importance of higher education. Therefore, we are proud to offer our scholarships to high school female seniors planning to attend a four-year college!

Social Action

Social Action implements activities of the National Social Action Commission at the local level. They are responsible for promoting leadership, advocacy and empowerment to affect social change and public awareness.
